Formerly Sean's Panorama (also spelled Sean's Panaroma).
Why we’d go
This is the grande dame of Bondi dining, and one of the few tables here built entirely around seasonality rather than a beachside crowd. The short chalkboard menu changes as often as daily, much of it grown at Moran's own farm in the Blue Mountains, and the cooking is deceptively simple home-style food executed with real precision. We'd choose it when you want the beach setting to come with genuine substance on the plate rather than just a view.
What to order
It's a set three-course choice menu (three options per course) that turns over with the season, so go by what's on the board that day rather than a fixed dish; expect vegetable-forward, produce-led plates and honest home-style cooking.
The atmosphere
Warm, convivial and refined-but-relaxed, with an upstairs dining room and terrace open to the panorama.
Local tip: Our pick is a weekend lunch (served Friday to Sunday) so you get the full daylight panorama across the beach; book ahead, as the room is intimate and this is a long-running favourite.
Worth knowing: It's a premium fixed three-course menu, not a casual walk-in for a quick bite, and lunch runs only Friday to Sunday.
