With more than 100 restaurants, your biggest challenge when it comes to finding food is to settle on one. We make it easy with our simple guide to the must-experience restaurants in Bondi.
The most photographed pool in Australia, Bondi Icebergs is the first stop for many visitors to Bondi Beach. What many don't initially realise is that Bondi Icebergs is more than just a pool. It boasts one of the best restaurants in the country, Bondi Icebergs Dining Room and Bar, a gym, sauna, physiotherapist, cafe, RSL club, terrace bar, and change room facilities.
The pool and sauna are accessible to the public with an access fee of $6.50.
The pool is open all year round but is best avoided on Sunday morning when members occupy the lanes to compete in swim races and on Thursdays when the pool is emptied, cleaned, and refilled.
Photography enthusiasts should get to Icebergs just before sunrise to capture the best shots of the pool when there is light patchy cloud cover which can result in vibrant red, purple or orange skies.
