We'd come here for the view as much as the food — the upstairs deck at 80 Campbell Parade puts you above the promenade with the beach laid out in front of you, drink in hand. The kitchen keeps things crowd-pleasing rather than strictly authentic: tacos, quesadillas, nachos and churros built around a serious margarita and cocktail list. It's a fun, social spot that leans into the party-by-the-sea energy of this end of Bondi.
Tacos (the Baja-style fish taco gets the nods), quesadillas and nachos to share, churros to finish — and the margaritas, including a chilli version, are the reason half the room is here.
Colourful, lively and drinks-forward, with an outdoor balcony that fills fast on weekends.
Local tip: Book ahead and specifically request a balcony table — the beach-facing outdoor seats go early, and they're the whole point of coming here rather than a street-level cantina.
Worth knowing: It's more festive beachfront bar than destination Mexican cooking — some diners find the food fairly standard Tex-Mex and note fillings can arrive on the cool side, so come for the setting and drinks first.
