Why we’d go
This is one of the more grounded, genuinely local cafes on the busy Campbell Parade beachfront run, trading since 2011 and leaning on fresh, seasonal produce rather than gimmicks. We'd choose it for an unhurried weekday breakfast when the flashier beach cafes are heaving, and the "& Wine Room" side gives it a bit more range than the average brunch spot. It sits right on the beach strip near Sir Thomas Mitchell Road, so you can roll off the sand and into a table without much of a walk.
What to order
Our steer is the vegetarian brekkie roll it's long been known for, alongside the seasonal salads and wholesome grain bowls; pair it with the specialty coffee.
The atmosphere
Relaxed, local, indoor-outdoor cafe seating on Campbell Parade
Local tip: It opens early (from 6am), so if you're coming straight off a morning swim you can beat the mid-morning brunch crowd and still get an outdoor table facing the strip.
Worth knowing: It's across Campbell Parade from the sand rather than directly beachfront, so views are of the strip rather than an unbroken ocean outlook.
