Why we’d go
This is the bakery workshop behind Shuk's popular North Bondi cafe, and it's where we'd send you for the morning-run essentials: proper sourdough, croissants, challah and Israeli-style savouries like flaky bourekas rather than a sit-down brunch. It's a small, functional shopfront built for grabbing and going, with baskets of bread lining the wall and a short list of salads and sandwiches assembled on site. If you want table service and shakshuka you head to Shuk proper down the road; if you want the baking at its source, you come here.
What to order
Bourekas, house-baked sourdough and pastries, croissants and challah, plus the made-to-order baguettes and salads; they also carry vegan pastries and gluten-free bread.

Local tip: It's a working bakery with limited seating, so treat it as takeaway - grab your bourekas and coffee and walk the two blocks down to the sand rather than expecting a table.
Worth knowing: Tiny footprint and minimal seating mean it's not the spot for a leisurely sit-down brunch - that's what the larger Shuk cafe nearby is for.
