Why we’d go
Started as a Blair Street hole-in-the-wall in 2019 and grew into a genuine local institution; the salmon is cured in-house and the bagels are fresh Polish-style, backed by a full Jewish-deli counter.
What to order
The Classic Lox bagel (house-cured salmon, herb schmear, tomato, capers, red onion) is the signature; the katsu chicken and halloumi bagels are the crowd favourites, and don't skip a Linny's cookie.
The atmosphere
Small, buzzy, deli-counter charm with a handful of indoor seats.
Local tip: It's a short walk up from the sand rather than beachfront, so we'd grab a bagel to go and carry it down to North Bondi — takeaway runs a little later on weekends (until 4pm Sat & Sun) if you're chasing a mid-afternoon feed.
Worth knowing: Seating is minimal and it closes by mid-afternoon, so it's a breakfast-and-lunch spot, not a dinner one.
