Lox in a Box
Bagels · North Bondi
A tiny, much-loved North Bondi bagel deli slinging Polish-style bagels stuffed with house-cured lox and Jewish-deli classics.
Best for: A pre- or post-beach bagel run in North Bondi

Café in North Bondi
A neighbourhood brunch cafe on North Bondi's "seven ways" corner — the site that traded as Blair Street Dairy now runs as North Café.
Formerly Blair Street Dairy.
This is the classic tucked-away Bondi corner cafe rather than a beachfront scene: big picture windows, a coffee machine front-and-centre and a scatter of pavement tables at the Glenayr Avenue junction, a good block back from the sand. We'd choose it for a relaxed local breakfast or a mid-morning coffee away from the Campbell Parade crowds, and the kitchen leans into generous, produce-forward brunch plates. Worth knowing it's the same premises long known as Blair Street Dairy, now operating under the North Café name.
Our pick here is the all-day brunch end of the menu — egg dishes, corn and vegetable fritters and hearty cafe plates, plus in-house pastries and a proper flat white; check the current board, as the menu has changed with the rebrand.
Bright, minimal, casual and neighbourly, with dog-friendly footpath seating.
Local tip: Skip the beachfront queues and walk up to the seven ways corner — parking and a footpath table are far easier to snag here, and you're a short stroll from North Bondi beach.
Worth knowing: No ocean views and it's set back from the beach, so come for the coffee and food rather than the scenery — and confirm the current menu and hours, since the venue has recently rebranded from Blair Street Dairy.
Hours, prices and menus change — always check the venue’s own site before you go. Spotted something out of date? We keep this directory current; details reflect our last check.
