Why we’d go
This is the kind of unpretentious neighbourhood coffee window that Bondi does best — no dining room to speak of, just superbly made Allpress espresso, cold-pressed juices and a short, honest breakfast menu passed out to a permanent scrum of regulars. It's been going since 2007 and functions as much as a community meeting point as a cafe, with cyclists, ocean-swim groups and mums-and-bubs all crossing paths on the footpath out front. We'd choose it for the coffee-and-a-roll ritual rather than a sit-down brunch.
What to order
An Allpress flat white or long black; the "Bondi Bad Boy" egg-and-bacon slider, the acai bowl, Bircher muesli or quinoa porridge; a cold-pressed juice or green smoothie on a hot morning.
The atmosphere
Busy, chatty and casual — a footpath community hub with no real seating.
Local tip: There's no proper indoor seating and it gets packed, so grab your coffee to go and walk down to the North Bondi grass or beach. It trades mornings only, roughly 6am to early afternoon, so it's not a lunch or dinner option.
Worth knowing: It's a takeaway window up the hill, not a beachfront brunch spot — no views, minimal seating and no bookings, so it's for grabbing and going rather than lingering.
