Each spring, the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk becomes a free, open-air gallery for Sculpture by the Sea - over a hundred works set against the cliffs and ocean, and one of Sydney’s signature events.
Entry is free, with a voluntary contribution of $5 a person or $10 a family suggested. It is hugely popular - up to 450,000 people over the run - so come early on a weekday if you can, and take the bus: vehicle access to the streets nearest the walk is restricted from 9am to 6pm.
