Why we’d go
This is one of Bondi's most enduring Italian rooms — opened in 2014, bought back and relaunched by Orazio D'Elia in 2022, and awarded a Good Food Guide Chef's Hat. The draw is genuinely good Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza alongside the signature focaccia with rotisserie porchetta, in a lively 90-seat room a short walk up from the sand. With the sister bar Orazietto next door, we'd send anyone here who wants a proper sit-down Italian dinner rather than a quick beach feed.
What to order
The wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas (the Margherita is the honest test of any kitchen) and the signature focaccia con porchetta; antipasti share plates and seafood pasta round out a table.
The atmosphere
Warm, packed and buzzy — spritzes, big tables and a proper Hall Street local crowd.
Local tip: Book ahead — it fills fast most nights; if you can't get a table, slip into the sister bar Orazietto next door for pizza and a drink.
Worth knowing: It's up on Hall Street with no ocean view, dinner-focused (lunch is weekends only), and priced above a casual beach feed.
