Why we’d go

If you keep kosher, are vegetarian, or just want an unpretentious, well-priced pizza away from the Campbell Parade crush, this is a genuine Bondi institution — no meat is served, everything is kosher-certified, and the guitars-on-the-walls room has a warm neighbourhood feel. We'd choose it for a cheap, cheerful feed rather than a scene: crisp bases, generous toppings and a milkshake for well under $20. It's a rare point of difference in a strip full of interchangeable Italian menus.

What to order

Classic thin-crust pizzas (the Mexicana and Greek are the long-running favourites), a Greek salad, and — if you're curious — the signature sweet chocolate pizza to finish.

The atmosphere

Casual, cosy and unfussy; quiet at the edges, livelier when the small dining room fills.

Local tip: It runs to kosher observance, so plan around it: open Sunday to Thursday afternoons/evenings, closed Friday and only reopening after sundown on Saturday — check the day before if you're relying on it.

Worth knowing: No ocean view and no meat on the menu, so it's about the food and value rather than a beachfront setting.
