About Gelato messina
Australia's favourite ice cream/gelato shop arrived at Bondi a few years ago and has been one of the most popular spots ever since. We asked them our list of questions to find out a little more about the Bondi team at Messina.
When did the restaurant open?
Messina opened it’s first store in 2002 in Darlinghurst. Bondi was our 3rd store opening in 2012.
What is the dish that keeps locals coming back?
Our Salted Caramel and White Chocolate gelato is the best seller, along with our ever changing specials menu where there are 5 new specials per week.
What's the best table to get?
There’s no tables! Make your way to the counter, then wander down to Hall Street to sit on the beach
What is your favourite activity in Bondi Beach?
Eating - there’s so much good food in Bondi.
What's one thing that people don't know about your restaurant?
Every one of our 40 flavours has it’s own unique flavour recipe. We also have over 4000 specials in our bank!
If you were fully booked, where would you send diners?
A Tavola - the best pasta in town. We’re never fully booked though - the line moves vey quickly!
